Hi!!!
I have a french bulldog female, 6 months old…She was just spayed a few days ago and the one vet said I should switch to an adult food so she wouldnt gain weight.
Do u agree with her being put on an adult food??
Ive had her on Earthborn Puppy vantage….Shasta220MemberIf the food is a good quality and transition is slow, I wouldn’t see why not. The puppy and adult Earthborne foods do seem to be similar (as some brands will have super protein-rich puppy foods, then filler-full adult foods)
theBCnutMemberI have a 12 year old JRT and she eats puppy food and acts like a 7 year old. Dogs don’t gain weight because they are on puppy food, they gain weight because they are overfed. Make sure that you don’t overfeed no matter what you are feeding and stay on an All Life Stages food(which is a growth food whether your vet knows it or not, it just doesn’t have the word puppy in the name).
