Right now she is eating Fromm weight loss. Only one cup breakfast & one at dinner. I supplement with salt free green beans. Still no loss. Can anyone give me specific names of food they have tried? She needs to lose 30 lbs. I’ve gotten all the blood work etc done. Even when we took in a foster and they played constantly… no weight loss.
David FMemberShe’s doing all this and no weight loss? You say blood work was done. I assume that included thyroid. If the thyroid tests are good, can you check ancestry for naturally big builds?
zcRileyMemberAssuming your vet cleared her for Hypothyroidism. Feed ZiwiPeak lamb freeze dried for 4 weeks. Add some of their wet canned food as well. Give her one Dasaquin w/ MSM for large dogs daily. No treats, lotsa water. Start with a brisk 30 minute walk per day, fast walking no stopping. Then 2 walks per day. Then add fetching. Keep her moving.
