Taste of the Wild – High Prairie Puppy Vs. Blue Buffalo Life Protection – Puppy
Which food is better?
TotW is grain free and a few dollars cheaper, blue buffalo life protection is not grain free and slightly more expensive. I don’t necessarily care about whether the food has grain or not, I think they’re both high quality feeds. What would you use?
Is there anything better that is in the same price range or cheaper?
My puppy is a 4.5 Month old Australian Shepherd.Kyle HMemberI know that the Blue Wilderness is more comparable, but it is not in the same price range as the TotW.
I’m looking for anything <$50 per 30lb bag, 4+ Stars on DFA.
crazy4catsParticipantHi Kyle H-
A better food is in the eye of the beholder! Lol! My favorite kibble in that price range is Whole Earth Farms and Victor. If you sign up for Editor’s Choice, there is a list of recommended 4 and 5 star dry and wet budget friendly foods. Check it out!
I have fed both Taste of the Wild and Blue previously as well without issue. I now think Blue is over priced and rated.
Good luck with your pup! -
