    I know many companies like to add lots of plant proteins to their kibble to up the protein amount. I know meat is much more needed, but do dogs simply not absorb plant proteins the way they would quality meat?

    Iā€™m not asking this for myself, but so I can hopefully better explain it and possibly get some people to switch off of Purina productsā€¦.(*coughs* Beneful)
