    Hi,
This may be a really stupid question. I’m trying to figure out how many mg of calcium are in my dog’s food, but it’s presented as a % on the label. Is there any formula to figure out how many mg’s of calcium are in a serving? I’m feeding carna4 duck. It’s has 535 k/cal per cup and it states in has 1.1% calcium.
    Thank you!!

I have been researching dog food for our German Shepherd puppy and I read in several places that you have to email the company and ask them for that information. I haven’t done it myself so I don’t know how it works.

Its not a stupid question at all. Look at the nutrient printout for Prosense Vitamins for Dogs. It has about half of the data in mg and half in % (which makes no sense to me). I called a large vendor and they did not know what the %s are in mg or %s of what, but they gave me the direct line for the Prosense Vitamin manufacturer sales force. I called and left a message for someone named Dale 4 days ago. No return call – nodda yet.
