Francine FParticipant
Hi,
We just added a rescue whippet to our home. She’s been here since Saturday and won’t eat or drink . She had one sip of water and some food, but has to be coaxed. She growls at our other dog when she(new dog, Lilly) is lying down on the coach or a her dog bed and the other dog comes near. Doesn’t matter if there is food or not. If a person is there, and Heidi comes over, Lilly growls. So, two issues. We don’t know much about Lilly. She was transported from her original home and we are her third and final stop. The reigning took 10 days total and she got comfortable on the first home because there were other dogs and a huge yard. She exhibited the same behavior there but settled after 3 days.
I’m concerned she will continue growl at Heidi. ANd that she will become dehydrated
Thanks
