ParticipantI’ve got a pit lab mix who has q very sesentive system and is a very picky eater I have tried alpo kibbles and bits purnia one smart blend small beef bites and salmon flavor all which he turns his nose up to the only food he barley likes is the salmon flavor and the only food he doesn’t get dihereea on he can’t eat canned food its like a laxative for him

MemberLook for NutriSource dog food. Take at least a week to transition him to the new food. Practice “tough love”. Leave the food down for 15 min. Take up whatever he doesn’t eat. If he doesn’t eat it all, he gets nothing else until the next meal.

ParticipantIf you want to add some canned food to his kibble to make it more appealing then also add some fiber to keep the stools formed. I would say around 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of ground psyllium (that’s comparable to Metamucil) although I would get plain ground psyllium without the color or sugar and other additives.
