MemberHi all. My dog recently has been diagnosed with diabetes. I know that prices in US are much expensive compared to canadian insulin prices. can you advise me some places where i can buy insulin at affordable prices?
mererx
MemberIf you are located in the US, Walmart has it’s own brand of over-the-counter insulin. It is cheaper than you will find anywhere else, around $25 a vial for NPH, R, and 70/30. The vet may be willing to precribe one of these formulations due to cost!

ParticipantThis is a question for your vet. Insulin is not something you want to buy from just anywhere. If the efficacy of the product due to the source is unknown, this can mean the difference between life and death for the dog.
Talk with your vet about cost concerns and find out if they have a solution for you.

ParticipantI know it can be challenging with pets that require insulin. We offer a large variety and discount pricing. Insulin for Pets
