ParticipantHas anyone tried freezing individual portions of canned dog food for future use? Interested to hear anyone’s results and if it could still be healthy for my dog to eat. Thank you for any replies!

ParticipantI have the same question- a regular can is too much to eat for my 17 lb beagle in one week as she likes variety. Can I put half can in freezer container for her future menu?

ParticipantI’ve been doing it with leftover deer/hog meat after proper cooking for my 2 dogs(thankfully can hunt hogs here almost year around so no shortages usually, as long as you have proper gear – https://gritroutdoors.com/hunting/ has some good stuff FYI). Make sure to cook it well though since it’s a wild meat.
