I would like suggestions for dry dog food that helps produce firmer stools.
Vicky SMemberI added a probiotic to my dogs food , advise of vet for firmer stools.. got it at the vets, fortaflora, made by Purina..
pugmomsandyParticipantMy fosters have formed stools on Nutrisource grain free lamb, Nature’s Logic various flavors, and Zignature lamb.
rita hMemberThanks, What probiotics do you give your dogs?
rita hMemberThanks for the information.
rita hMemberThanks.
crazy4catsParticipantHi Rita h-
I use Vetri-Pro BD made by Vetri Science or Swansons ultra soil based organisms. I also use Firm -up, which is dehydrated pumpkin and pectin to firm up the stool. All of these can be ordered from Amazon. Best of luck!rita hMemberI will check into these products. Thanks for the information. Rita
Nancy CMemberI have had great luck with The Honest Kitchen’s “Perfect Form” —
rita hMemberI will consider that food in the future. Thanks
SusanParticipantHi Rita, what kibble did you end up feeding & hows it going?
rita hMemberWe are using Fromm Mature Adult. It has only been two weeks but we can see an improvement.
