Having trouble feeding and caring for a Husky with Gastro -intestinal health problems. Using same name dogfood from Hills and Science Diet. Need fresh or inexpensive alternatives. HELP! My Husky has problems digesting regular food- i’ve been told by my vet who says that she cannot specifically eat fatty foods:meat and the like. This shows in the quality of her stool. She is ,at present ,small for her breed, 2 years of age ;but happy, healthy ( even in her early years while experimenting on her food).
mydogismeParticipantJust me, I wouldnt have my dog on S.D. Foods. I had mine on S.D. perscription brand,cd and id for several years. She continued to not do well as I also tryed several holistic brand and found limited ingredient brands that work much better. Try Earth Born Holistic or Mike has a list of 5 star dry and wet food that have limited ingred. I hope she does well.
