GmessigParticipant
My dog has epilepsy and I have been making her own food. I am concerned that she is not getting enough nutrition. Any suggestions?
theBCnutMemberGet Steve Brown’s “Unlocking the Canine Ancestral Diet” and Dr. Karen Becker’s “Real Food For Healthy Dogs and Cats” They will help you to understand what needs to go into a dogs diet and how to put it there.
Mom2CavsMemberI know you make your own food and that’s fantastic, but this site has some good info. on dogs and seizures……www.dogtorj.com
GmessigParticipantI do follow Dr. Mercola’s book and use it to make her food. However, she now has pancreatis and they are saying she needs a bland diet. I am nervous about the Hills prescription diet because of the past recalls. Thanks for the link to dogtorj!
