I am looking for Balanced Raw Recipes for small dogs that can be prepared and frozen and taken out as needed. I am looking for not just the ingredients, but the measurements as well? All foods need to be purchased from a grocery store (shipping is difficult…we live on an island in Alaska). Ideas please?
Thank you,
KeripugmomsandyParticipant“Real Food for Healthy Dogs and Cats” by Beth Taylor and Dr. Becker has raw recipes and the book has a vitamin recipe to go with them along with nutrient analysis. I can only speak for the 3rd and 4th editions which I have.
Keri MMemberIs there any recipe site that you can advise me of or recipes that you can send my way…until I receive the book in the mail? I am currently using one by Rodney Habib, but would like additional options.
pugmomsandyParticipantThis one has some guidelines and some sample recipes.

You can also order supplements from BalanceIt.com to add to your meat/carb of choice.
poodaddyMemberpugmomsandy, do you have a recommended reference source of the minimum daily canine requirements of micronutrients and vitamins? thanks
pugmomsandyParticipantpoodaddyMemberExcellent. Exactly what I was looking for and what my raw model needs. Thank you!
poodaddyMemberKeri, we have an Alaska company and the CEO is on St George Island consulting. What island are you on?
