Another alternative for Purina EN Gastrointestinal dog food recommended by vet

I have a ten month old Beabull (Beagle/English Bulldog mix). He has gas and loose stools typical of many bulldogs. My vet recommended the prescription dog food Purina EN for gastrointestinal issues. My dog has done well on this food. He is less gassy, and his stool is well formed. Unfortunately, this food is $89 a bag, requires a prescription, and has to be bought at the vet. My dog has a voracious appetite (typical for this mix.) Is there another dog food that I can get for less than $89 a bag that is similar to the Purina EN? If not, I will definitely keep him on it. However, if there is an alternative, it would help out a lot. Thank you very much.
Danielle BMemberI had the same issue with my English Bulldog puppy. I went through several dog foods and landed on Victor. The stools have become solid however he does still have the gas issue.
