Randy- Yes 8 months is usually the marker. You can also feed a LBP food until 10 months or even 12 months to be safe. It will not hurt them to grow as slow as possible. It is also not just a matter of feeding the correct food, but not feeding too many calories as that also contributes to overgrowth.
